2024 Will Be Just Peachy

2024 is going to be just peachy.

How do I know this? Because Pantone and I have agreed on one thing, and that’s that peach is the color of the year. They call it Peach Fuzz, but I call it just Peachy.

As I was pondering the breakout color for 2024 in the DINO line, I settled on peach as the color that would anchor the entire palette. In my mind’s eye, I was looking for a color that would replace pink as a more soothing alternative, evoking a sense of comfort, sophistication, warmth. A color that would feel sweet, airy and tactile, yet grounded. And I can’t deny that when I first heard Pantone had chosen peach as the color of the year, I nerded-out and was nearly brought to tears. Color has that affect on me, and you’d be surprised that it affects you too, more than you might know.

As we’re surrounded by color, you’ll begin to see tones of peaches in nail polish, interiors, accessories, beauty, and the digital space. Often color comes into view as a tint or filter, subconsciously shifting our mood. At a time when we can all agree that the human condition is being tested, it gives me a sense of peace that the most renound color theorists in the world have presented us with an opportunity to surround ouselves with color meant to recalibrate and align us with our internal values. A color meant to cocoon us, while encouraging connection. Words like sueded, velvety, fuzzy, warm, tactile, and my favorite feeling of all, soft, all come together in 2024 in DINO and beyond.

I’m working on some delicious new DINO, and can’t wait to share my version of Peachy with you, in a fresh new palette on new and exciting shapes and fabrics! Until then ...

Peace and peach,

XO Suz
